Between the orchards and the spa town of Merano
Our house is in Forst, near Algund. The garden, lawn and seating in the sun and shade invite you to relax. Covered parking is available right by the house.
Algund, Merano and the surrounding area
Algund village centre is approximately 10 minutes away on foot via the wooden bridge over the River Adige. Bus services are a short walk away.
Irrigation channel trails, cycle paths, the outdoor swimming pool and Forst Brewery offer nearby outings. There is something to enjoy in every season: Christmas markets, Merano 2000, the Schnalstal valley and excursions to the Vinschgau, Passeier or Ulten valleys.

By train and bus
Take a regional train from Bolzano to Merano. Buses run to Forst from Merano or Algund; the Citybus stops approximately 270 metres from the house. Collection from Merano railway station is available on request. Timetables are available from Südtirol Mobil.
By car
From Bolzano, take the MeBo expressway; from the Reschen Pass, take the main road to the Forst exit.
Access is via Brauhausstraße from the large bus stop at Forst Brewery. Initially follow the blue route. At the yellow house at the small junction, turn left and follow the signs for “App. Tratter”; then take the second turning on the right.
By plane
Possible airports include Bolzano, Innsbruck, Verona, Bergamo and Munich. Continue by train and bus or use an airport transfer from Südtirolbus.
